NENEK means grandmother in Bahasa Indonesia.

A grandmother carries warmth, care, and a quiet kind of wisdom. She is connected to the earth, to the hands that make, to the rituals that are passed down, and to the simple act of making people feel at home.

NENEK is a house of comfort, craft, and ceremony.

Downstairs, we gather around coffee, cacao, and tea — a place to pause, meet, share, and settle in.

Upstairs is ALON-ALON.
A space for slowing down, creating, and working with our hands. A place for workshops, natural dyes, conscious making, shared knowledge, and creative gatherings.

We believe there is value in taking our time.
In making something slowly.
In learning by doing.
In using our hands.
In sitting together without always needing to be somewhere else.

We invite you to put your phone and digital devices away while you are here — not as a rule, but simply as an invitation to be more present.
